Do you wish to train to become a Psychologist? Meet people who have walked this path and learn from their journeys

Welcome to the Pathways to Psychology blog! We hope you will find the information published here, helpful and informative.

Choosing a career path can be an exciting and sometimes daunting step. There are many avenues to pursue and many choices to be made. Choosing to specifically pursue a career in Psychology could seem a rewarding and interesting path to follow, and while this is true, there are many sections within the career field of Psychology which are often less well known and as a result, attract fewer applicants. In this blog we are looking at the experiences of Applied Psychologists, from a variety of backgrounds, working in a variety of teams and settings, as to how they developed their careers.

Maybe you are an inspiring Applied Psychologist yourself, or you know many colleagues who are working in Applied Psychology roles. Contact the blog so we can build awareness of the wide range of Applied Psychologists in successful careers, and also celebrate their achievements, skills and learn about their future plans.

Look out for our blog spots, where we will feature talented and committed Psychologists. Hopefully their journeys will leave you inspired to create your own. Remember to check the British Psychological Society's webpage for  accredited post-graduate courses in Applied Psychology:
